Designed by Gordon Murray, the McLaren MP4/4 dominated the Formula 1 scene in the unforgettable 1988 season. With drivers Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost at the helm, the MP4/4 secured an astounding 15 out of 16 victories, solidifying its place as one of the most successful racing cars ever created. Murray's innovative design incorporated elements from his previous Brabham BT55, resulting in the ultra low-line MP4/4. The carbon fibre/honeycomb monocoque chassis and compact Honda twin-turbo V6 engine propelled the machine to incredible speed.
