Designed for the more competitive driver, our RL-73© dial has been rotated for optimum racing use. With Daytona, Sebring, Targa Florio and Trans-Am victories under its belt the RL-73© is based on the evocative, multiple endurance winning, aircooled car of the Seventies. Racing drivers of this period would rotate the tachometer in order to know exactly when to change gear; with the needle reaching the Rev limit in the vertical position. This nostalgic period in competitive racing has been reignited in our classic design.
The watch face is broken into large hour, medium 30-minute and small 10-minute intervals. The singular hand of the watch is used to tell the hour and approximate minute. For example, the shown model is set to 8.30.
