Arguably the most famous car in the world, the iconic DB5 has firmly secured its place in automotive history. Coveted by car enthusiasts around the world, DB5 ownership has historically been the preserve of the lucky few. In 2020, more than 50 years on from its initial launch, the DB5 has been reimagined for the modern era.

Hand-crafted to allow the love of driving to be shared across generations, the Aston Martin DB5 Junior will be built to 66% scale of the original and will feature a rear-wheel-drive, fully electric powertrain and multiple driving modes. Just like the original, only 1,059 of the models will be made, providing a rare opportunity for fans of the marque to own a piece of history.

As an official Aston Martin model, the DB5 Junior will pay homage to the rich history of the brand. Each of the limited-edition vehicles produced will feature classic Aston Martin badges, Silver Birch paintwork, Smiths instruments, and individually numbered chassis plates. In tribute to Aston Martin's more recent technological advances, the DB5 Junior will include swappable lithium-ion battery packs and regenerative braking.

The DB5 Junior has all of the iconic details you would expect from an Aston Martin DB5, including:

Authentic Aston Martin badges consistent with the original cars

Replicated Smiths instruments, including original DB5 clock

A full leather interior in a range of colours

Mahogany & aluminium steering wheel

Opening and closing bonnet and boot

Four-wheel disc brakes, and a hydraulic handbrake

Double wishbone suspension at the front, with the roll centre and camber gain matching the original geometry

Rear live axle as per the original, with authentic upper and lower trailing-arm suspension and panhard rod

The car is available in two model types the DB5 Junior (£35,000) and the DB5 Vantage Junior (£45,000), the latter providing a serious performance upgrade. Both models are fully customisable, with a range of accessories on offer to choose from.

Production of the DB5 Junior commences in 2021 and as a strict limited edition, our clients are now securing their build slots by placing a fully-refundable deposit. Should you be interested in reserving a build slot for your own DB5 Junior, please contact us for further information.

The Little Car Company DB5 Junior already oozed appeal, but now to celebrate the release of No Time to Die, 125 of the diminutive sports cars will be given the Bond treatment, making it perhaps the ultimate collector’s item for 007 fans worldwide. Boasting more power than even the DB5 Junior Vantage, the DB5 Junior No Time to Die Edition has been given Brembo disc brakes and Bilstein dampers and coilover springs to make sure his two-thirds scale marvel can handle the extra performance. However, it would hardly be fitting for an international super spy if it didn’t feature any gadgets, and this Bond-ified DB5 Junior boasts a full arsenal, including the all-important headlight-mounted Gatling guns with imitation barrel blasts and flashes (this is intended for both kids and adults, after all). That’s not all though, because in addition to a “skid mode” and unique digital numberplate, the DB5 Junior No Time to Die Edition can also produce a smoke screen to aid in the evasion of any henchmen on your tail. All these gadgets are operated by individual controls in a hidden switch panel in the passenger door, very cool indeed.
