As two powerhouses of Italian design, it was only a matter of time before Unimatic and Automobili Amos combined strengths on a collaboration. Now it’s finally happened with the highly limited Unimatic X Automobili Amos UT4-AA and UT4-AA2 watches, of which just 50 and 150 units will be made respectively. The two watches are almost indistinguishable, bar a tiny Futurista silhouette at the tip of the UT4-AA’s second hand, and represent the first Unimatic release that uses the Seiko VH31 quartz movement. Thanks to the quartz movement, Unimatic have been able to shave around 1 mm from the thickness of the case.

Both watches feature a sandblasted stainless steel case with a gunmetal coating, while the dial and TPU straps are finished in a lovely shade of Brinzio Green, a colour intrinsically linked with Automobili Amos that was named after a little town close to Varese in Northern Italy. Both watches are shock resistant and boast 300m water resistance. We’re delighted to say that you can buy the UT4-AA2 in the CD Shop right now, but act quick because they're sure to sell out in a flash!
