1972 Porsche 911 2.7 RS Lightweight. To many the ultimate 911, the 2.7 RS was built for one purpose, to allow Porsche to compete in motor racing. Homologation dictated that 500 be built, but in all 1308 were produced with only 200 of these being the ultimate M471 'Lightweight' spec, with thinner glass, thinner steel and no sound proofing. This one is depicted in Blood Orange rather than the more common white.
Limited edition. Numbered and hand signed print run of 25. Part of a trio of studies that I have painted to celebrate what were, in my eyes, the most important and coolest tricked up 911's.
