Since 2018, Depancel have carved their niche in the motorsport-inspired watch market with unique chronographs and race-inspired timepieces. The new Allure sports a British Racing Green finish, adding heritage and style.
Depancel has been named watch sponsor for the Masters Historic Racing Series at the Silverstone 2024 Festival on August 23rd. To commemorate this, they're producing a limited edition of 150 Allure Manual Chronograph 39 mm pieces.
The watch features a Seagull ST1901 manual-winding chronograph movement, assembled in-house, with a 45-hour power reserve. The sub-counters feature contrasting colors for easy readability while driving. The chronograph minute counter is black with yellow markings, while the small seconds counter is 'English Green' with white indicators. Aged-look Super-LumiNova hands and hour-markers enhance the vintage aesthetic. The dial includes a pulsometer and tachometer scale.
This 39mm stainless steel chronograph evokes the spirit of 60s and 70s sports watches. Every detail reflects the golden age of motorsport—a time of daring, creativity, and experimentation. As F1 legend Jackie Stewart quipped: "It was a time when sex was safe and motor racing was dangerous."
