The third volume of the Car Racing collection, 1967, is the one that illustrates
the progressive advent of colour. Photographers henceforth juggled with black
and white film and colours, but always remained close to the drivers and to all lovers of speed and competition. In their comments, Johnny Rives and Manou Zurini do not deny their pleasure in rediscovering all the people they met in the fever of the circuits, delivering anecdotes and sharing their knowledge.

The rich iconography of the Car Racing collection is drawn from the untapped
archives of the DPPI agency, born in 1965 from the passion of a handful of men for photography and cars, preferably sports cars. Access, previously limited to professionals—almost none of these press photos have ever been published before—has now been granted to the general public. Legendary drivers, essential manufacturers, shots of the greatest mythical races in the world… Motorsports enthusiasts as well as photography enthusiasts can dive back into the heart of events.
